"Myself and my partner travelled to Bel Giardino last July for seven nights. My only regret is that we couldn't stay any longer! The gardens of the house are so picturesque and peaceful with fruit trees that provide welcome shade at midday. The rest of the house is clean and comfortable - ample room for myself and my partner with the entertaining area outside, as well as the large sitting room. We will definitely be returning with friends and family in the near future."

GUEST REVIEW

1/8

Bel Giardino is a family owned holiday rental home located in the peaceful, historic town of Tresnuraghes, Sardinia.

"We take pride and great care in providing a high level of comfort and cleanliness for all our guests. Our home is ideal for that get away family holiday where peace and tranquility is a must. It is situated on the edge of the village of Tresnuraghes a traditional and rustic place where the locals are very welcoming as you would find if you visit any of the local bars which are all within a 10 minute walk. From here you have access to some of the most spectacular beaches along the West Coast of Sardinia which remains very traditional and un-spoilt.

The town of Bosa is a five minute drive away and here you can relax on the award winning beach or enjoy the many restaurants and shops the town has to offer, there are also snorkeling, fishing, canoeing and many other activities available for the more adventurous. Locally though, there are still many bars and restaurants offering a wide variety of dining experience. Much of these are all listed in the guide book provided for you."

Please take a look at our website for further information. We hope you like our home as much as we do, if you would like to book or request further information, please email us here: belgiardinobookings@gmail.com

Many thanks

Historical Sites

Our local Medieval town of Bosa is itself an historical attraction, with narrow, cobbled alleyways and powder-coloured picturesque houses overlooked by the castle. Take a trip to the top for the best views of Bosa, the River Temo and out to sea.

Further afield but still only a short drive away are numerous archeological sites , such as Penisola del Sinis, which has received a Tripadvisor 'Certificate of Excellence Award' for its historic churches, Roman settlements and breathtaking views.

Sporting Activities

The local Bosa Marina is situated upon a long and deep stretch of sand where you can take part in many watersports, including jet-skiing, rubber-dinghy hire, pedalos and even wind-surfing. Fancy trying your hand at sailing? Sign up for lessons at the Sardinia Sailing Charter School in Sant'Antioco!

Beaches

Sardinia is renowned for its white sandy beaches and aquamarine seas. The local beach of Bosa has twice been voted the best beach in Italy.

Our guestbook is the best place to find out all you need to know about the local beaches; this link may also help you.

Restaurants

The best pizzeria in Sardinia (as voted for and taste-tested by us!), 'GiGi's' , is only a five minute walk from the house. Whether you want a walk in to town or a short drive, fresh seafood straight from the Sardinian sea or perfectly cooked pasta dishes, you will be spoilt for choice with the region's many culinary delights. Many of our local restaurants have received 'Certificate of Excellence' awards from Tripadvisor.

Local Markets

For an authentic taste of Sardinia, and to experience the local culture first hand, why not visit one of the many nearby markets? Find unique birthday or Christmas gifts to take home to loved ones, or simply treat yourself to the bespoke crafts and local food.

Nature and Wildlife

Sardinia has an abundance of nature reserves, each uniquely beautiful. You can enjoy a natural foot massage on the white quartz beach of Is Arratus (Spiaggia san giovanni di Sinis), visit one of the islands many wildlife parks, or even visit a cat colony at Su Pallosu!
